Everyday Activities

We've had several nice walks, taking advantage of some truly gorgeous weather. Ari and Robin walked to Scorhill (picture), an ancient stone circle next to the Teign River. We all had an exciting hike through the darkest wood I've ever seen, down a hill to another part of the Teign, where it rushes over boulders and under a little bridge. We've been to Tavistock to shop, and have discovered the play park in Chagford. The Chagford swimming pool is open, too, but it seems a bit chilly yet to indulge! Robin likes playing on the lawn and watering all of Jill's container gardens with the assortment of watering cans. He has new, rainbow-striped wellies for the job.

Kris    You could write travel books.  No kidding.  Your descriptions are vivid, commentary interesting.....well, enough of that.  I am so glad you are having a great time, but was there  really any doubt?  You guys are in your element.  Enjoy every minute.  Robin looks totally adjusted - to house, surrounds, animals.  Unbelievably terrific, fun child.  I love the picture with Robin "hanging over? the horse.

Spke to susan and Meyer - in Poland - also enjoying themselves.

Hope the rest of your time there goes very, very slowly.  Love, J

P.S.  What is a wellie?

Kris and Ari,

We are so jealous. It looks beautiful there. We can not believe how big Robin is getting. We will pass this website along to our mom, because she will love to see the pictures and hear the stories. We just had lunch with your mama and Missy and are in Atlanta till Saturday. We are going to Stone Mountain tonight and we will be thinking of you. We love you.
